Generative AI in the Newsroom

The Generative AI in the Newsroom project is an effort to collaboratively figure out how and when (or when not) to use generative AI in news production.

The Generative AI in the Newsroom (GAIN) project is an effort to collaboratively explore the responsible use of generative AI in news production. It was launched as an initiative of the Computational Journalism Lab at Northwestern University in January, 2023 and is edited by Nick Diakopoulos.
